Christmas Dinner

Christmas 2006 in Berwyn was special in many ways. It started with Don's arrival from California a week before Christmas and concluded a visit to Longwood Gardens.

Christmas concluded with a post Christmas vist from the Nissley clan including Tom , Laura and Peter and Henry from Seattle, Eleanor from California and Peter and Connie from Washington.

Sally prepared a wonderful dinner tonight for 17 people that was topped off with a Birthday party for Leif. Leif didn't like being the center of attention.

The children- Peter, Henry, Hannah, James, Brendan and Leif continued to be perfect- even after Santa had come and gone. One of the toys was a hovercraft that flies higher than the house!

James and Brendan ran and ran until they literally couldn't stand up anymore. Little Henry held up much better- but that was because he rode " a horse on a stick".

We all had a great time!

Sounds like you all had a great Christmas with the patter of little feet and giggles of children -the way it's supposed to be! We're jealous you got the 'Duck' for the Holiday but I guess we'll have to share him. We had a second X-mas in Erie with Michelle getting ready to move to Florida and a new teaching job and Micheal laid up and miserable with knee surgery. The Wilkes kids enjoyed playing scrabble, chocolate fondue and ice skating this year.
Keep in mind you are all invited for a rondevous at Olgebay, W. Virginia in June so maybe we can all get together then!
