It was a lovely quiet pool. Leif and Brendan were enjoying their rest Sally Kim Eric and Duane were talking. Hannah and her friends were playing and eating their popsicles.

Then all H___ broke loose and the waters broiled!

Canada

James, Hannah and I continued north to Canada. We went on the Maid of the Mist, traveled in the tunnels behind Niagara falls, and took the "Aero Car" over the whirlpool... and of course swam in the hotel hot tub, got a treat at "Candy Mountain", and had a good sleep!

Camping Adventure

Cousin Matt proved he was "licensed to catch"... and helped James fulfill his "Man Versus Wild" fantasy. They caught a fish, chopped its head off, gutted him, and then cooked him on a stick over the fire. (The fire, by the way, James started with flint, steel and steel wool!)

Hannah and Maggie enjoyed dissecting the fish. (Hannah wanted to bring the eyeballs home, but we couldn't find a jar!)

Marilyn, Roy, Jen, Matt and Maggie stayed with us at the campground through dinner (watermellon, hot dogs, marshmellows... and fish). James, Hannah and I stayed over night-- sleeping in a tent until we nearly got washed away in the middle of the night.

Donna's Party

We had a fun time at Donna Beaver's birthday party at Conesus Lake in New York State. Donna and her three sisters are the daughters of Carl, John Malm's brother.
